Cursed Bones
Sovereign of the Seven Isles: Book Five
Isabel reaches Karth, tormented by the influence of the Wraith Queen, and quickly becomes embroiled in the conflict between the House of Karth and the Reishi Army Regency. Before she can form any meaningful alliance with the Karth family, she must first challenge a dark and sinister power that has kept the Isle of Karth in thrall for millennia.
The harsh snows of winter have arrived, stalling open warfare in Fellenden, but Zuhl presses the attack, relying on the power of his dragons to carry the day and dealing a blow to Alexander that is as devastating as it is personal.
Abandoned by the love of his life, Alexander wakes among the dragons of Tyr. Bedridden by a grievous injury, he struggles with the limitations of his magic in a desperate effort to help the two people he loves most survive the winter, while also preparing his allies for the coming spring. What he discovers about the true nature of his calling might change everything.
Another excellent book. The author is very imaginitive in his story telling skills and the constant balance shifts in power make this series difficult to put down at anytime. This has quickly became one of favorite series and my wife knows hates the release of each book.
This book is quite disapointing compared to the others in the series. The book is rushing through the plot, is also a bit superficial, and unfortunately Alexander solves with his magic most issues, even though the plot had a chance that the other characters like Isabel and Abigail develop much more independent. But will buy the next one hoping for a return to better stuff.
Just got book 5 now. I’ll be up all night reading. All night…. curse you David A. Wells… CURSE YOU!!! ((shakes tiny fist))
can you get a paper coppy of cursed bones?
Paperback copies of Cursed Bones will be available within the week.
Thanks,
David
I drop everything else I’m reading when your books come out. Great story!
I read all five books in the series and they are awesome. I just can’t wait for book 6 & 7, I cant wait too read what the righteous hero Alexander is just going to do next.
I am very much enjoying your series. My fascination with the characters and plot continues to grow. So much so, that I squandered the night way finishing your fourth book. Looking forward to the eve of the fifth.
I can’t believe I just now noticed the release of book 5! This is one of my favorite series to read (tied with the Bartimaeus trilogy in quality) and I can’t wait to read the 5th entry! I’m afraid I got distracted reading the falcon saga, which also very good, but can be a bit confusing as the thought process of the author is laid down to paper more plainly than what was proabably intended. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing though!
Anyways, David you’re a fantastic autthor and I encourage you to write many more stories to share with everyone!
just read up to book 5 in a week. Awesome books, couldn’t put them down.
Just finished Cursed Bones please would you hurry up and finish book 6 BRILLIANT books
Love the series!! I hope you plan another set of books for the 7 isles once you finish with the story of the Thinblade. You have so much potential to fill in backstory for adventures of the other Sovereigns! 🙂 keep up the good work…
